In April 2009 Diamondback is scheduled to debut at Kings Island. Diamond back will stand at 230ft and have over 5200ft of steel track. The first drop will be about 218ft high it will reach a speed of 80mph. After that it will go into a second drop 190ft. It will then go into a turn before going through another series of drops. Manta to come to Sea World

Sea World Orlando is planning to get a new roller coaster. They are holding back details about there new roller coaster, but the name is Manta and it will be a flying roller coaster. The Orlando Sentinel says “The renderings show a manta ray-shaped, four-rider-across vehicle, in which riders lay face down. The track is built over a lagoon and the vehicle splashes through it.”Click Here for the full article. The ride Manta will create a new immersion into the animal world.

Fahrenheit comes to Hershey Park

In May of 2008 Hershey Park will be adding to their collection of roller coasters. With the Debut of Fahrenheit Hershey Park will have 11 roller coasters. After acquiring Storm Runner in 2004 Hershey Park got some momentum with greatly increased attendance. Now in the year 2008 Hershey Park shall come out with their second Intamin Launched roller coaster Fahrenheit they are hoping it to be as successful. Fahrenheit in full swing will be operating three trains all with stadium style seating. The ride shall begin with a 90 degree ascent followed by a 97 degree drop. The coaster will then go into a inverted loop 107 ft high then into a; corkscrew, cobra roll, airborne inverted s roll, inverted corkscrew roll, airtime hill, banked curve, airtime hill, and a turn.

Busch Aunnoces Theme Park in Dubai

On Thursday Febuary 28th 2008 Busch companies made a huge announcement on the coming of a new theme park in Dubai. This Theme Park will contain a Sea World, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, and Busch Gardens all in one. The park is scheduled 2012. It will be a very unique park. So better get out your passports and get ready for a middle east trip in 2012

Petition for a theme park in Maine

Have you ever wished that you could walk outside and see the tall roller coaster skyline in the distance. Maine only has two Theme Parks and those are tiny with almost no ride and attractions. Maine needs a real theme park like the one you’d find in Ohio like Cedar Point.Did you ever think how fun it would be to actually just be able to go over to theme park in the summer.
